Only out for a few days Photoshop Mobile
has become the number one free application in the iTunes Store. Not bad for an app that offers only a few, but worthwhile, features of the full version. Photoshop Mobile is offered up to pair with Photoshop.com where you get 2gb of free storage and can upload photos, connect your account with Flickr, Facebook, Photobucket and Picasa.
When you first start the application you are given the choice of selecting a photo or taking a photo. Once you have your photo you have different top editing options.
For each editing option you are giving hints on how to use most by swiping your finger across the screen to get the desired effect. It’s pretty simple.
After editing your photo then you can either Save and Exit, or Save and Upload to Photoshop.com. You will need to create an account for Photoshop.com which then gives you a way to share these photos online and on your Facebook, Flickr, Photoshop or Picasa accounts.
It would be nice if you could set up these accounts on the iPhone and then upload directly bypassing the flash-heavy Photoshop.com site. You can check out my album at Simplyiphonenow. Look at what I did to Jack the Cat!
What I like is that with a free application I have both Zoom (crop) and a bit of a flash (exposure) which makes it unnecessary to have separate apps for those features. I can see why Photoshop Mobile is the number one free app in the iTunes Store!
Have you tried out Photoshop Mobile? Do you use another photo editing/sharing app that does more or you like more?
