Track Illness and Pain with Illness Tracker (Health Calendar)

For those of you that don’t know me I suffer from a chronic pain and fatigue syndrome called fibromyalgia.  Some days the pain and fatigue aren’t so bad and don’t interfere much with my daily life.  Other days the pain and fatigue are severe enough that I can barely get out of bed to get a glass of water.  Yikes!  Anyways, it would be nice to have a simple way to track my pain levels, what medications I am taking, and compose notes about daily activities to see if there is something I am doing that makes the pain and fatigue worst or better.  I also wouldn’t mind a way to track regular illnesses since I seem to pick up every virus and bacteria infection making the rounds of friends and family.

The other day I came across Illness Tracker Illness Tracker (Health Calendar) which is on sale now for $0.99, down from $3.99, and I think I found the application that can help me track my fibromyalgia symptoms and other health-related concerns.  Recently I went through the agony of a abscessed tooth and needed to take an antibiotic and pain medication.  Well, enough about my health issues, let’s talk about the application.

Basically Illness Tracker keeps track of symptoms on a calendar so you have a log of illnesses and conditions for yourself and your doctors.  Record, monitor and recall all of your illnesses and ailments throughout the year.

  • Keeps track of illness history.
  • Keep separate calendars for various people.
  • Record notes each day if necessary.
  • Summary screen shows all entries for a day.
  • Export data in an email.
  • Record symptoms with time stamp each day.
  • Record pain scale (1-10) each day.
  • Input medications, dosage and time of day.
  • Mark whether you are sick that day.
  • Record fever and temperature.
  • Indicate whether you had a doctors appointment that day.

I like this application, especially since I have a pain condition and it lets me record pain level for each day.  I definitely think it is worth the $0.99 I shelled out for it.  Illness Tracker is both easy to use and comprehensive.  I can see myself tracking my symptoms of an illness and be able to go into my doctor’s office and know what I want to discuss rather than trying to remember when a symptom began or if there was a change in medications, environment, stress level and so on.

Is there an application you use to keep track of your health?
